POLL: Should Eduardo feature against Wigan?
After the disappointment of the Carling Cup defeat against Burnley this week, it's back to the real business of the Premiership this weekend.
The best news for Gooners is that Crazilian Eduardo i getting closer and closer to a comeback after that horror injury against Birmingham City in February.
After seeing how many one-on-ones the youngsters missed on Tuesday night, it underlines how fine the line is between occasional ability and top class finishers, of which Eduardo is one.
He has already played in some 90 minute games behind closed doors and it's a credit to him that he is back so much earlier than expected.
"He is joining in full training games but he needs now games," said Wenger on Thursday.
It must be a temptation for Arsene Wenger to bring Dudu back in some form for a home game, especially if the game is tight going into the last third of the match.
With Chris Kirkland in imperious form, what odds on Eduardo coming off the bench to break the Wigan defence's resistence?
What do you think? Should Eduardo be involved in some respect on Saturday?

It would be so good to see Eduardo back in action, but I think against Wigan it might be a little too early, I know he has to come back against weaker teams that like nothing better than to kick their opponents off the field, perhaps he could come on for the last 10 minutes if Arsene Wenger thought it would be a good idea.
Hell no, Dudu should only come back when he's fit both mentall and physically. I really don't want to see him come on, and take a knock pushing him back to square one. I think he should play some reserve games until he's match fit. Who knows? Maybe his attitude will rub off on the young 'uns.
I don't think he should be involved just yet!
I really can't wait for him to play for us again but seriously if we bring him back too soon we could be without him for the rest of the season. To be fair only the physio and club staff will know when the time is right. I just hope they don't rush it.
I am truly ashamed of this poll and any fan who wamts him back in the team facing a hadrened northern side. That would be criminal and set Dudu up as a target. He has shown such determination and commitment and no way does a true fan want his career risked before he really is ready. And I hope his first return is at the Emirates whre we can show im our appreciation. This site should not lower itself to fomenting such a disgraceful idea that Dud is plunged into a hard fight. Leave to to our excellent medical staff and to Wenger who dos not play idiot with the career of his players.
Come on get real. The guy has JUST started full training recently and has JUST played a behind closed doors friendly and only featured for a few minutes. To bring him on now could be disastrous so the guy should be slowly integrated.
If we have a solid 2 + goal lead we should let him play the last 15 just to give him the feeling of playing a premiership match again. However i am conserned about him platying wigan who is a tough tacklig side...We will see what the boss thinks, he will defintitly make the right choise
IN ARSENE WE TRUST
Absolutely not, there is no reason to rush Eduardo back. Although the impression I have is that he just needs matches to get the fitness and sharpness levels up.
I wouldn't want to see him in the prem at anything less 100%.
why not just stick him on the bench. even if wenger had no intention of him playing a part on the field, just the cheer he would get when his name gets read out would give him a massive confidence boost
Get him on the bench, just to start getting him involved again. There is no need to rush him back yet, but having him on team sheets would lift his and the crowds spirit, im sure!!
yeah i agree he should be having more matches but i think also that after 2 weeks he should be on the bench to gain some feedback which will only strengthen his mentality but we should rush him you know i think maybe he should come on the last 10mins against liverpool because that game will be tight two top four clubs who will show alot of passion and also desire to win crazy tackles so yeah maybe just 80th minute he should come on COME ON EDUARDO!!!!!!!!!
i love arsenal plus the players. i wouldnt want to c eduardo rushed if he aint very ok, i mean fully fit to play. its true i miss him, arsenal misses him and fans miss him too. but rushing him back isnt the solution to our missing him. let wenger take his time, let eduardo recover fully. january wont be very bad for him. GOONER 4 LIFE!!!!!!!
